James Angus Morris Jr., proud veteran

June 15, 2023

James Angus Morris Jr., 68 of Lewes, passed away Monday, June 5, 2023, at his home. He was born May 26, 1955, in Chester, Pa., son of the late James Sr. and Anne Morris.

James was a graduate of Penncrest High School Class of 1973. A proud veteran, he honorably served in the U.S. Army before a distinguished career as a commercial electrician for Wyatt Pharmaceuticals. James had many interests and hobbies. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing 18 holes with friends. He was a true beach bum. More often than not, he would be surf fishing, walking along the beach, or just chillin’ with his toes in the sand. James, affectionately known as The Grill Master, loved to cook, especially barbecue. He could build or fix almost anything, and always had a new DIY project. Above all, he appreciated the time spent with those most important to him. James was a loving and caring father, brother, and friend. Loved by many, he will be missed by all who knew him.

James is survived by his children, Michael and Kristen; his sister, Anne; and his brother, David.

Services will be private.

Final care has been entrusted to Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
