Jawsfest: It’s still safe to go in the water

Classic movie draws hundreds to benefit for Beebe Medical Foundation
August 21, 2020

Why not build an event around the classic movie “Jaws,” and show the film on a 52-foot outdoor screen in the middle of a field?

Jawsfest: Beebe’s Gonna Need a Bigger Boat was a fin-out-of the water success and attracted more than 500 people to Hudson Fields Aug. 20, with proceeds going to Beebe Medical Foundation.

Food vendors, artists, photographers, business vendors, food trucks and musicians were also part of the first-time event coordinated by Revival House founders Rob Waters and Rob Rector. Revelation Craft Brewing even unveiled a new beer for the evening called Quint’s Revenge. Quint, played by Robert Shaw, was the ill-fated boat captain in the movie who didn’t make it out alive.
