30th annual Rehoboth Beach festival opens with sold-out crowd at Cape High

Fall is the time of year when the air is crisp and is filled with smooth sounds throughout the cape region at large and small venues. Restaurants offer music and concerts take place in town.
True Blue Jazz Festival kicks off another year of live straight ahead jazz Oct. 16-20, beginning with the True Blue Youth Jazz Appreciation Night at Bethany Blues in Lewes. For information go to truebluejazz.org.
The 30th annual Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival’s opening night Oct. 17 at Cape Henlopen High School featured keyboardist Brian Simpson and saxophonist Boney James. Awards were presented to Gerald Albright, Artist of the Year, and John Ernesto, Producer of the Year.
