Jean Susan Wolfe, active in community
Jean Susan Wolfe, 69, of Lewes, passed away Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017, surrounded by her daughters and caring friend. She was born June 7, 1948, in Toronto, Canada, daughter of the late Edwin and Helen (Keach) Wolfe.
Jean worked as an LPN for 40 years with a passionate heart for helping others. For the past eight years, she was an active member in both the Lewes and Rehoboth Beach communities. Jean was a cheerful and hardworking person who had a vivacious outlook on life.
Jean is remembered with love by Art Savittieri; her daughters, April Avallone and husband Chris of Normandy Beach, N.J., and Suzanne Dougherty and husband Peter of Florham Park, N.J.; and her six grandchildren.
A private burial will be planned in Maplewood, N.J., at the beautiful Chapel Garden, a part of Morrow Memorial United Methodist Church. A Memorial Service in honor of Jean will be held at Bethel Church in Lewes; details will follow at a later date.
Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
