John Clifford Huffman, retired painter

John Clifford Huffman, 80, of Laurel passed away Sunday, June 3, 2018, at Atlantic Shores Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Millsboro.

Mr. Huffman was born in Piney Creek, N.C., March 13, 1938, to the late Luther Hoke Huffman and Alice Price Huffman. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Isabelle S. Huffman in 2010; as well as a sister, Shirley, a brother, Tommy and a stepdaughter, Sandy.

He retired from Don-Lee Margin and then worked as a painter.

He is survived by a daughter, Linda Jones and her husband David of Millsboro; six stepchildren; Charles, Tommy, Wanda, Roland, Kevin and Jimmy; three sisters, Doreen, Cora Lee and Mary; and two brothers, Jerry and Clarence. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Liza Blocker and David Jones I[, five great-grandchildren, Layla, Aubrey, Greyson, Kennedi and Remi; as well as numerous stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren, extended family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, July 7, at Melson Church Cemetery in Delmar, Md.
