Johnny Rawls to play live at Bethany Blues June 1
Bethany Blues will welcome renowned blues artist Johnny Rawls at 8:30 p.m., Saturday, June 1, at 18385 Coastal Highway, Lewes.
“We are so excited to have Johnny Rawls coming to Blues. We have Sydney Arzt to thank for booking this blues staple, and it’s going to be a really amazing night of music,” said Jessica Nathan, director of operations.
The return to the Cape Region is exciting for Rawls. He was a welcome performer at the original Sydney's Blues and Jazz Restaurant in downtown Rehoboth Beach, and he is hoping to see all the friends he made during his many stops in Rehoboth over the years.
Known for his soulful voice and electrifying performances, Rawls promises to deliver an unforgettable night of gospel-tinged, soul-blues music. Backed by the seasoned Jimmy Pritchard band, Rawls will treat attendees to a soul-stirring repertoire featuring both classic hits and new material from his latest album.
