Joseph 'Steve' Belanger, proud veteran
Joseph “Steve” Belanger, 64, of Milton, passed away suddenly Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2016. He served proudly in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam War veteran.
He was husband to Barbara Belanger. He is survived by his three children Eric (Amy) of Millsboro, Jason of Wilmington, and Elizabeth (Rob) Hope of Middletown. He was the proud grandfather of Kaylee and Karsyn Hope and Olivia and Julian Belanger. He is also survived by his mother Madeleine Belanger of Brandford, Conn.; sister Gail (Barry) Latham of Branford; brother John Belanger of Branford; and companion Sue Carter of Milton.
He was preceded in death by his father Rosario Belanger; sister Linda Mur; and brother Jocelyn Belanger.
Visitation will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 6, at Melson’s Funeral Home, 32013 Long Neck Road, Millsboro, with full military honors and service following at 2 p.m.
