Josephine Fiala Morgan, loved by many

Josephine "Jo" Fiala Morgan, 95, died peacefully Sunday, June 2, 2024, surrounded by family.
She was born Nov. 12, 1928, in Herkimer, N.Y., the fourth child of Frank and Mary (nee Molinaro) Fiala.
Jo married Howard "Jim" Morgan and they raised six children. She worked at Cigna, Hansel & Gretel Children's Boutique and Strawbridge & Clothier/The Macy Company while she lived in Wilmington. Jo retired to Lewes and worked at Ralph Lauren Polo Outlet in Rehoboth Beach for 15 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim; and great-grandson, Alex. She is survived by children, Jim (Sally) of Milwaukee, Wis., Dave of Kansas City, Mo., Mike (Chris) of Detroit, Mich., Paul (Randy) of Gunnison, Colo., Mary of Wilmington, and Sue of Florissant, Colo. Known as Nona, she is further survived by 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
Per her wishes, arrangements are private, but a Celebration of Life will be planned in the near future.
