Julie Derrick sworn in to Cape Henlopen school board

Julie Derrick was sworn in July 13 as the area D representative for the Cape Henlopen school board.

Derrick takes over the 5-year seat from Jen Burton who did not run for re-election. Derrick was the only person to file for the seat. 

During the board’s reorganizational meeting, the board unanimously chose Andy Lewis to remain president; board member Jessica Tyndall was named vice president, taking over the position from Alison Myers.
