KAM Productions design honors healthcare workers

Delaware outline shirts proceeds to benefit food bank

Inspired by family, friends and neighbors who have been on the front lines of the health care industry during the COVID-19 pandemic, Lincoln-based KAM Productions has designed a shirt that will give back to the very same community with each purchase.

“We’ve always believed in giving back and supporting the community,” said Keith Mosher. He and his wife Karlin Maull run all aspects of KAM Productions. “And with this design, every order of one, we will also donate one to local healthcare workers,” he said.

KAM Productions is perhaps most well-known for its ubiquitous 302 Horseshoe Crab Design, which represents the state’s area code and the state marine animal, and is sold at events, festivals and on its own website.

The new shirt design, #302as1, features the design within the medical caduceus. “The healthcare workers are in a situation that none of us could have ever imagined and we wanted to thank them for their dedication,” Maull said. “We are all in this together, and we need to work together to come out of this even stronger. And since Delaware is the First State, we need to work together as one.”

For every shirt that is sold, one will be donated to a local hospital. “In the first three days that we announced it, we had enough purchases to donate 75 shirts so far,” Mosher said.

The home-based business also created an additional design that includes the same hashtag, but with an outline of the state as well. With this design, KAM Productions will donate $5 of each T-shirt purchase to the Food Bank of Delaware. Already, $500 has been raised for the organization.

“We are hoping the hashtag in the design is used to show pride in our state,” Maull said. “It’s a pride that we have and we want to show all the good things that are happening during this pandemic.”

All KAM Productions designs are original and printed by hand one at a time, all designs come in unisex, women’s and youth sizes.
