Kathryn Ann Kleitz, compassionate nurse

Kathryn Ann Kleitz, 50, of McDonough, Ga., passed unexpectedly Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2024, peacefully in her bed. Her loss is completely unexpected. Her family, friends, and work-family are shocked and deeply saddened. She was born May 22, 1973, in Wilmington, to John G. Kleitz Jr. and Sharyn L. Kleitz.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, John G. Kleitz Jr. and Sharyn L. Kleitz; and grandparents, John G. Kleitz Sr. and Lois Kleitz. She leaves precious memories for her son, John J. Kleitz; five fur babies: three pit bulls, Zoey, Jazmine and Jack, and two cats, Harley and Buster; aunts, uncles and cousins; and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services were held in McDonough, Ga., Friday, Jan. 12. A viewing will be held Thursday, Jan. 18, from 11 to 11:45 a.m., at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 16961 Kings Hwy., Lewes. A graveside committal will be held at noon, at Bethel Methodist Cemetery, Savannah Road, Lewes.
