Keith W. Parker, retired USAF major, pilot

Keith W. Parker, Maj. (Ret.) USAF navigator, electronic warfare officer, and pilot 1959-73, of Milford passed away peacefully in the arms of Jesus Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024, at Bayhealth Sussex Campus.

He was born again Oct. 21, 1968. With his love of the Lord, Keith earned a juris doctor degree from George Mason University Law School, along with other degrees, and was an instructor at Delaware Technical and Community College from 1994-2012.

Keith was born in Fostoria, Ohio, son of the late Buster “Nick” Parker and Leva Leanna (Allen) Parker. In addition to his parents, Keith is preceded in death by a son, Troy Cade Parker (2007).

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 51 years, Bonnie (Booth) Parker; four children, Bryan Thomas Parker and wife Tammy of Salt Lake City, Utah, Derek Weston Parker and wife Kyong of Ellicott City, Md., Coty Trianne Ferenchak and husband John of Tucson, Ariz, and Tyra Lynn Parker of Freeport, Maine; four grandchildren, Monica Parker, Niki Parker, Amy Zepeda and John “Jack” Ferenchak; two brothers, Stephen Thomas Parker and Allen Joseph Parker and wife Linda; as well as two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 6, at Berry-Short Funeral Home Chapel, 119 N.W. Front St., Milford. A time of visitation for family and friends will be held at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 5, and Sunday beginning at noon. The burial will be in St. Johnstown Cemetery, Greenwood.
