Kids’ summer classes kick off July 8 at Milton Arts Guild

June 15, 2024

Milton Arts Guild’s annual kids’ summer class program will be held throughout the month of July, giving children the opportunity to spend part of their days honing their artistic skills.

Classes meet from 10 a.m. to noon at Studios on Walnut, 310 Walnut St., Milton.

For younger kids in first to fourth grade, classes will be held daily from Monday to Friday, July 8 to 12. Children can explore diverse offerings such as card making, basketry, polymer clay, wet felting and painting whimsical sea creatures.

Classes for the weeks of July 15 and July 22 will welcome older kids from fifth to eighth grade. During the first week, kids will try their hands at decorating cigar boxes, basketry, painting, Gelli prints and journal making. The second week, kids can explore wet felting, basketry, painting, polymer clay, and beading and painting.

Each class costs $25, which includes supplies. For more information and to register, go to miltonartsguild.org.
