Kite Festival draws high fliers

The 49th Annual Great Delaware Kite Festival was held at Cape Henlopen State Park on Good Friday, April 14. Hundreds of people enjoyed  warm temperatures, sunny skies and just enough breeze to send kites into the clouds. The event is co-sponsored by the Lewes Chamber of Commerce and the Delaware Division of Parks and Recreation. The kite festival also featured an Easter egg hunt, egg toss and many contests for kite enthusiasts. See more coverage of the festival in the Friday, April 21 edition.
