Laurie Von Koch Sandt, Navy auxiliary member

Laurie Von Koch Sandt passed away Thursday, March 29, 2018, at her home in Rehoboth Shores in Millsboro. She was born to Edward and JoAnn Koch of Carlisle, Pa., Sept. 14, 1953.

Laurie was a graduate of Boiling Springs High School in Boiling Springs, Pa. She was a lifetime member of the Navy Ladies Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman William Sandt, a former Navy Seal.

She leaves behind her daughter, Josie Koch of California. She also leaves behind her brothers, Kin Koch and his wife Cindy of Millsboro, and brother Nathan Koch and his wife Sue of Newville, Pa.; two sisters, Cindy Serrano of Florida and Julia Koch of California. She also leaves behind a niece, Sarah Lindsay Koch at Winterpark, Fla.; nephews Jesse Koch and his wife Katie of Denton, Md., Brett Finkboner, Ryan Finkboner and his wife Rita of Mechanicsburg, Pa., Jonathan Koch, Andrew Koch and wife Melisa Koch, all of Newville, Pa.

There will be no public services.
