The Historic Lewes Farmers Market held its annual Hoedown April 28 at the Officers' Club at Cape Henlopen State Park. Funds raised at the Hoedown will help to support the market.
The event, attended by over 300 people, was a great success, according to farmers' market president Helaine Harris. Attendees dressed the part and a menu of fried chicken, baked beans and potato salad, with plenty of homemade pie, fit the bill of a Sussex County Hoedown.
