Lewes library seeks vendors for Aug. 3 teen craft fair

July 11, 2024

The Lewes Public Library is accepting vendor applications for its second annual teen craft fair to be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 3, at the library, 111 Adams Ave., Lewes.

Participants interested in selling their own original homemade items must be under age 19 to be eligible for consideration.

Last year’s fair included paintings, jewelry, crocheted items, drawings, figurines, pottery, books and decals. Sales will be cash only.

“Last year’s sale drew a huge crowd, and we encourage all young artisans to join us to display and sell their creative goods,” said Emily Ellinger, teen services librarian. “It’s a great experience for the teens to share their creations with the community and for community members to appreciate the wonderful talent from our local youth.”

To apply, teens must go to tinyurl.com/LPLCraft24, and a committee representative will be in touch to schedule a short interview. Completion of the application does not secure a spot at the craft fair.

There is no vendor fee. For more information, email lewes.library@gmail.com.
