Lions Clubs celebrate annual Governor's Ball

The Lions Clubs of Delaware celebrated their annual Governor's Ball Dec. 3, honoring District Gov. Ken Chew. Guest speaker at the ball was International Director Bob Corlew and his wife Dianne from Milton, Tenn.
Past President Jim Coverdale presented the Corlews with a piece of local Milton pottery as a gesture of goodwill between the two towns with the same name. Corlew also presented Milton Lions Club member Jay Wheeler a Certificate of Appreciation from Lions International President Wing-Kun Tam. Wheeler received his award for being District 22-D's bulletin editor for the fourth year in a row.
