Local comic publisher to display artwork at Milton Theatre
In celebration of Revival House's screening of “Doomed!: The Untold Story of Roger Corman's ‘The Fantastic Four,’” set for 6 p.m., Thursday, March 16, local independent comic book publisher PLB Comics will be displaying prints of original artwork in the lobby of the Milton Theatre through the end of March.
Displayed prints will be available for purchase, and will feature PLB Comics original characters from their self-published comics, as well as other works. The PLB Comics team will have a full selection of their comics, art prints, T-shirts and stickers available during the screening at the Milton Theatre. Follow the Comically Cinema event through www.facebook.com/OgresGrove for more information about other local artists who will be sharing their work March 16.
"We're really excited to be a part of this event. The Milton Theatre, Revival House and Ogre's Grove are doing excellent things as far as bringing art and culture to the area, and we are humbled to be asked to be part of it. Plus, being able to watch ‘Doomed!’ on the big screen is great! Corman's Fantastic Four film has always had so many rumors swirling around it in the comics community, I'm excited to finally get the inside scoop on it," says James Dufendach, PLB Comics editor.
