Luzvimin Cristobal Corpus, Dept. of Agriculture, navy retiree
Luzvimin "Ben" Cristobal Corpus passed away peacefully at Bayhealth Sussex General Hospital Sunday, Sept 15, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
Luzvimin was born in Dagupan, Pangasinan, Philippines to the late Fortunato and Quirina (Cristobal) Corpus. He was retired from the U.S. Department of Agriculture and was a member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Milford. He also was a retired chief petty officer with the U.S. Navy. He served 21 years with the Navy and was a plank owner of the USS John F. Kennedy. He loved his country and was very patriotic. He loved to fish at Cape Henlopen fishing pier and tend to his garden.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Isabelita Corpus; and siblings, Ernesto Corpus, George Corpus and Libertad Corpus.
Luzvimin is survived by his two children, Racquel Corpus and Allan (Holly) Corpus; three grandchildren, Patrick Corpus, Brendan Corpus and Jaden Madson; and his brother, Jun Templo.
A graveside service will be held at noon, Monday, Sept. 23, at Henlopen Memorial Park, Milton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society.
