Man sought in Lewes-area shooting

Delaware State Police are searching for an 18-year-old Hyattsville, Md. man in connection to an attempted murder Oct. 8 in the Whispering Pines mobile home park outside Lewes. 

Through their investigation, police identified Lewis M. Cameron as a suspect. The incident occurred about 6:01 p.m., Oct. 8, on the 31000 block of Maple Court. When troopers arrived on scene, they found a 29-year-old Millsboro man in front of a home with multiple gunshot wounds. Troopers immediately rendered medical care, and the man was transported to an area hospital where he remains in critical condition.
