Maplewood Dental breaks ground on Selbyville branch
Headquartered in Rehoboth Beach, Maplewood Dental Associates broke ground on the dental office’s new Selbyville branch June 5. Found off Lighthouse Road, 2.5 miles from Coastal Highway, the project will be the second location for the dental practice that opened in 1968.
Known for its patient-centered approach, Maplewood Dental Associates use state-of-the-art technology to offer a full scope of general and cosmetic dentistry, from porcelain veneers to dental implants, crowns and bridges, in a relaxed and soothing atmosphere.
From restorative dentistry, preventative dentistry and periodontal services, Drs. Steven Wright, Dan Luckenbaugh, Katherine Townsend, Dustin Venables, Katelyn Vincent and Stephanie Smith have devoted their practice to restoring and enhancing the beauty of their patients’ smiles.
“Our commitment to our customers’ comfort and convenience led us to seek a second location in Selbyville,” said Luckenbaugh. “This new location will be beautiful and functional, maximizing our ability to bring the top-of the-line dental services to our community.”
The two-story building will feature coastal-style architecture, with metal roof and cedar shake accents on the awnings and gables. The first floor will house the dental practice, with the second floor to be used for office space.
Gillis Gilkerson will be general contractor for the project and has been involved with the project from the pre-construction phase.
