Mardi Gras dance with Universal Funk Order at Milton Theatre March 2

The Milton Theatre will host a black light Mardi Gras dance party extravaganza at 8 p.m., Saturday, March 2.

Attendees will enjoy live music all night when last year’s Milton Zombie Fest headliner Universal Funk Order hits the stage. A glow bar, glow face painting and a black light reveal countdown will enhance the fun. This is sure to be a Mardi Gras party to remember.

When selecting what to wear for a black light party, attendees should find glow party outfits and materials that are either white or fluorescent. The brighter the neon color, the greater the chance that the item will glow. Fluorescent green, pink, yellow and orange are the safest bets.

Universal Funk Order is a funk/jam act based in Wilmington. The band features a tight rhythm section, an energy-driven horn section and passionate vocals.
