Marie J. Mauro, loved her family
Marie was born in Chester, Pa., daughter of the late Lawrence and Caroline (Morrone) Grieco. Marie was employed as a secretary at Powell Electronics in Philadelphia for over 30 years before retiring in 1984. After retirement and moving to her beloved Pot-Nets Bayside, she joined the Back Bay Strummers and Long Neck CHEER Center. Marie's talents included playing the piano, organ, banjo, and ukulele. She enjoyed the Christmas season baking Italian cookies, as well as crafting, completing puzzles, and gardening. Most important was the time she spent with her loving family.
She was the wife of the late Joseph W. Mauro, mother of Donna M. Rottenberk (Dan) and Joann M. Raport (Lee), sister of the late William Grieco, grandmother of Danielle Deady (Frank), Devon Rottenberk (Brandon Volbrig), Kevin J. Raport (Helen), Joelle Raport (Nicholas Noles) and Leigh-Anne Raport (N. Christopher Griffiths), great-grandmother of Annabelle and Nicholas Deady, Logan J. and Olivia M. Raport, and C.J. and Michele J. Griffiths. Her longtime companion, Robert Maculley, also survives Marie.
