Mariner Middle cheer team places first in competition

The Mariner Middle cheer team earned first place in the Pride Competition of the Division Small Middle category at the fourth annual Winter Showdown held Feb. 12 at Woodbridge Middle School.
The event is a qualifier for Delaware cheer teams to compete at the Delaware Spirit Coaches Association State Championship, set for Saturday, March 4, at Smyrna High School.
