The Mariner Middle School soccer squad defeated Delmar 4-1 on Oct. 3 in Milton. They move to 2-1 on the season.
Mariner’s Angel Arano Rebolledo scored at the 22-minute mark of the first half. After the halftime break, the Vikings stayed hot, with scores from Sawyer Dotterer at 36:00, Collin Sivels at 50:00 and Josh Wright at 55:00.
Mariner outshot the Wildcats 17-4 and held a 4-0 advantage on corner kicks.
Damien Kunic scored for Delmar at the 40-minute mark.
The Vikings will host Selbyville Middle School on Monday, Oct. 8.
