Mariner staff and students travel to the Florida Keys and Everglades National Park
October 2, 2024
Mariner Middle School staff and eighth-grade students took an adventure of a lifetime to Everglades National Park and the Florida Keys. The incredible trip featured numerous excursions along the way, which included a dolphin swim, coral reef snorkeling, hand-feeding tarpan fish, visiting a marine turtle hospital, squid dissections, kayaking through the Caribbean, and so much more! An amazing view can be seen in the photo from an observation tower in Florida Everglades National Park, just a stone's throw away from the park’s famous alligators and other abundant wildlife! Special thanks to all who made this trip possible for the students, and good luck to the students who are now enjoying their first year of high school!
