Mark Wayne Collins, skilled carpenter
Mark Wayne Collins, 63, left this world unexpectedly Thursday, July 18, 2024, He was born Feb. 11, 1961, in Milford, to the late Martha (Elliott) and Granville Collins.
Mark proudly spent his career shaping the world as a skilled carpenter, a trade that not only showcased his artistic abilities but also his dedication to detail.
Memories will be recounted in the cherished stories shared by his dearest friends, Wayne Littleton, Pres Mumford, WJ Revel, Harry Kitchen, and Dale Hudson.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Mitchell; and brother Melvin Collins Jr. Mark is survived by his girlfriend, Sharon Eaton; brother, Dale Collins Sr. (Bobby) of Frankford; his two daughters, Holly Marie Hammond (Brandon) of Georgetown, and Melissa Ann Collins (John Morrill) of Greenwood; and two grandchildren, Payton and Braelyn Morrill.
A man of varied interests, he found joy in the simple pleasures of life, visiting casinos, channeling his creativity into crafts, meticulously detailing cars, and embracing the serenity of hunting and fishing.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, July 25, at Watson Funeral Home, where friends and family may visit beginning at 10 a.m.
