The third annual Delaware Stroke Summit was held Dec. 6 at the Hyatt Place in Dewey Beach, with more than 100 participants attending.
The event, hosted by Beebe Healthcare and the American Heart Association, featured Dr. David Tam, Beebe Healthcare president and chief executive officer, along with E. Thomas Harvey III, chairman and CEO of Harvey, Hanna & Associates.
Breakout sessions were held throughout the day on stroke and health issues with a number of representatives participating to answer questions. Supporting sponsors included Post Acute Medical, Nemours Children’s Health, Bayhealth, ChristianaCare, AmeriHealth Caritas and Encompass Health.
