Michael E. Huth, successful entrepreneur

July 1, 2018

Michael E. Huth was born in Connersville, Ind., Feb. 7, 1957, and unexpectedly passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018.

He was a graduate of Connersville High School, where he still holds records in football and basketball to this day. He attended Indiana University before being recruited by the FBI and moved east, never to return to the Midwest.

After leaving the FBI, Michael established a successful career in the construction rental industry. Upon meeting the equally ambitious Pat Norberg in the mid ‘80s he hung up his construction hat and they embarked on mutual entrepreneurial endeavors to include the Olde Towne Tavern, P. M. Affairs Party Rentals, and the Silo Factory Reception Facility in Frederick, Md. His life and career was a testimony to celebrations!

Michael discovered a true love for the beach from his wife Pat, and they retired to Rehoboth Beach in 2008. He was a respected landscaper and carpenter ,while holding a guest registrant position at Beebe Healthcare. He had a passion for a thick steak, a bold glass of wine and a good cigar. As a staunch supporter of his beloved Cincinnati Bengals, his only regret was not seeing them make it to the Super Bowl.

Michael enjoyed a life so well blessed by the presence of his loving partner of 32 years, Pat; his daughter Samantha Norberg-Burrier and son-in-law, Blaine Burrier. In addition, he will be missed by so many other dear friends and family members as he smiles down on us all from above.

To further support the legacy of Michael Huth, in lieu of gifts please consider a contribution to Beebe Healthcare in his name; designating your contribution specifically to the Heart & Vascular Center of Excellence, Lewes Campus.
