Michael Kinnard appointed vice president and general counsel at Harvey, Hanna and Associates

Harvey, Hanna & Associates Inc. announced the appointment of Michael Kinnard as vice president and general counsel. Kinnard has served as a legal and strategic planning advisor for HHA for the past three years. He will manage all corporate legal matters as well as play an integral role in the company's growth strategy.

Kinnard has more than 27 years of executive, business development, client relationship management, business capitalization and legal experience for both public and private companies. Prior to joining HHA, Kinnard served as CEO of Total Trax Inc., a leading provider of real-time vehicle, driver and inventory tracking technologies for manufacturing and warehouse operations. Kinnard recently served as senior vice president at Alexander Proudfoot Company, an operational improvement consulting firm, as a business development and client relations management executive.

Previously, Kinnard served as CEO of SCO Logistics Inc., where he directed the execution of business, sales and marketing plans and guided the company through significant growth. He also has served as vice president, general counsel and secretary at Rollins Truck Leasing Corp., Rollins Environmental Services Inc. and Dover Downs Entertainment Services Inc. Kinnard also served as president and CEO at Matlack Systems Inc., another Rollins business that provided transportation and logistics services to the chemical and food industries. Previous to his career with Rollins, Kinnard was a partner at Baker Donelson law firm in Knoxville.

Kinnard holds a bachelor of arts in political science and a juris doctor degree from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
