The Mid-Atlantic Symphony Orchestra will perform its Holiday Joy concert at 7 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 7, at Cape Henlopen High School in Lewes.
Led by Music Director Michael Repper, the concert program will feature a blend of orchestral holiday favorites and vocal solos by guest tenor Jonathan Pierce Rhodes.
A festive mix features timeless classics “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” “Winter Wonderland” and “Sleigh Ride,” along with beloved carols like “Silent Night’ and “O Holy Night,” performed by Rhodes. Also included will be “White Christmas,” “In the Bleak Midwinter” and a special rendition of “’Twas the Night Before Christmas” with a narrator.
Known for his powerful stage presence and rich tenor voice, Rhodes is a recent graduate of the Washington National Opera’s prestigious Cafritz Young Artist Program.
