Milton’s Wicked Weekend attracts ghouls and goblins

Underneath a menacing 30-foot tall inflatable of Frankenstein’s monster, Milton’s fourth annual Wicked Weekend welcomed people of all ages to the town.

The Oct. 26 event at Milton Memorial Park was a free, family-friendly affair presented by the Nitan Soni Group of Northrop Realty and the Milton Chamber of Commerce.

“I have a little bit of a passion for Halloween, for sure, but really this event brings people together. That’s the big deal for me,” said Soni. “It’s a small-town event, and we don’t want to lose the intimacy of it. That resonates with people. We’ve probably had more than 2,000 people come through. Ten years from now, I hope we are doing the same thing; that we’re having more people come through and enjoying what we have to offer.”
