Milton Arts Guild classes continue Oct. 5
Milton Arts Guild will offer a varied selection of classes in October, appealing to a broad range of media preferences and skill levels.
All in-person classes meet at Studios on Walnut, 310 Walnut St., Milton.
Fall Into Card Making is set for 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 5. Instructor Beth Hammond will work with students as they create two Halloween cards, two Thanksgiving/seasonal cards and six Christmas cards. Cost of $80 includes most supplies.
Gerilyn Gaskill will teach a Down the Road watercolor class from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 11. Students with little or no watercolor experience will get personalized guidance as they create paintings depicting the best fall has to offer. Cost is $60.
Alcohol Ink Landscape/Seascape with Barbara Buford is set for 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Friday, Oct. 18. Students will be guided in working with alcohol ink to create a beautiful, free-flowing scene. Cost is $60 and supplies are included.
Ahead of the festive season, instructor Sharon Davis will work with students to create a holiday tree in Wet Felting Trees from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 22. Cost is $65 and all supplies are included.
Marie Natale will teach A Study of Green from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 23, via Zoom only. Students will follow Natale in a process of properly using green colors – which can often be garish and intense – by taming them into organic greens found in nature. Cost is $50.
A Walk in the Woods watercolor class with Gerilyn Gaskill will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 26. Students will create watercolors that highlight the vibrant autumn colors and textures. Cost is $60.
