Milton Arts Guild offers color theory for intermediate artists

A new, two-part color theory class offered on two consecutive Tuesdays by Milton Arts Guild will give intermediate artists an understanding of how color works within a painting and how important it is to the final outcome.

Professional artist Joe Terrone will walk students through working with value and intensity as well as temperature as they explore various hues.

The class will be held from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m., Tuesdays, Sept. 26 and Oct. 3, at Studios on Walnut, 310 Walnut St., Milton.

Terrone is a professional, Delaware-based artist. He graduated from Pratt Institute with an MFA in painting, and earned New Jersey state certification as an instructor of art. His plein air paintings have been collected throughout the country.
