Milton Arts Guild oil painting class set May 15 and 19

Milton Arts Guild will present a class on Painting Landscapes and Seascapes in Oil from 1 to 4 p.m., Monday, May 15 and Friday, May 19, in person at Studios on Walnut, 310 Walnut St., Milton.

The class will help intermediate students focus on composition and techniques to create a beautiful oil painting of a landscape or seascape.

With instruction by Barry Koplowitz, students will work on the same painting over the course of both days, allowing time in between for drying. Students can bring their own photos or are encouraged to use the photo supplied by Koplowitz. Cost is $150. To register and receive a supply list, go to miltonartsguild.org.

Koplowitz is a well-known artist in Bucks County, Pa., where he has shown his work in galleries, juried exhibitions and juried plein air events.
