Milton Community Foundation supports seniors

May 4, 2021

With the support of the community, the Milton Community Foundation is pleased to announce that within the past two months, the MCF was able to give $700 to Cape Henlopen High School for the financial support of graduating seniors from Milton.

Annually, the MCF makes a donation in the name of the Noble Prettyman Cap and Gown Fund, an MCF-initiated fund, to help Milton seniors in need obtain their cap and gowns for graduation which are required for the graduation ceremony.

This year provided an additional opportunity due to the COVID pandemic to help our seniors with their student accounts.  A requirement for participating in the ceremony is that student accounts need to be paid.  These accounts are used to pay for expenses incurred during the year, most typically cracked iPad screens, etc.

Through your generosity, our seniors will be able to attend this once-in-a-lifetime event and experience the thrill and satisfaction of graduating with their class.

We truly appreciate the support you give to the community and the MCF.

Thank you very much.
