Milton Elementary students collect food donations for Caroling on The Circle

Students at Milton Elementary recently coordinated a school-wide food drive to support Sussex County’s Caroling on The Circle initiative. They made signs that advertised the effort and hung them around the school. Students also reached out to local families to ask for participation.
All donations were dropped off at the school and were then delivered to the Caroling on The Circle food drive event in Georgetown Dec. 3. Together, the students collected 1,710 pounds of canned goods.
