In conjunction with the Horseshoe Crab & Shorebird Festival, Milton Garden Club will hold its annual plant sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, May 25, in front of the Milton Historical Society at 210 Union St. All sales are cash or check only.
A mix of perennial plants for sale will include hostas, ferns, lily of the valley and coral bells for shade; iris, black-eyed susans, garden phlox, daylilies, autumn joy and foxglove for sun; herbs such as bee balm, lemon balm, oregano and sweet Annie; shrubs including forsythia, nandina and winter jasmine; a few vegetable plants; and a variety of ground covers.
The club will also sponsor a garden yard sale featuring flowerpots, gently used garden tools, decorative garden items and more.
The sale is the official kickoff for the garden club’s 50/50 raffle. Tickets cost $1 each or six for $5, and the winning ticket will be drawn at the end of the Holly Festival in December.
