Guests will see much more than mulberry in the venues featured during the 22nd Annual Milton Garden Tour, set for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 17.
Seven homeowners have carefully curated and tended their gardens in an array of sizes, styles and types, and will be opening their gates as a fundraiser for the Milton Garden Club. Featured gardens include herbs, vegetables, aquatic plants, succulents, vines, wildflowers, perennials, annuals, shrubs, trees, whimsical décor, and plantings that thrive in sun, shade and containers.
Some gardeners will be on hand to answer questions. Artists and vendors will be selling their wares and creations. Plants and tasty treats will be offered for sale at the ticket booth. Those planning to attend are encouraged to purchase tickets soon and enjoy this local beauty!
There is no rain date, but a hurricane/nor’easter date is Saturday, Sept. 23.
Advance tickets cost $20 and are for sale at Pepper’s Greenhouse, the Mercantile at Milton, Lewes Printing, and Bella Terra Landscapes and Garden Center.
On the day of the tour, tickets cost $25 per person from the booth at the Milton Historical Society, 210 Union St., Milton.
Attendees are encouraged to carpool.
