Milton to hold townwide yard sales, Second Saturday Sept. 8

Historic Milton will be overflowing with bargains when residents hold yard sales all over town from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 8.

Milton Downtown Partnership will hold its Second Saturday event the same day. Second Saturdays are a monthly celebration of downtown historic Milton and its shops, restaurants, museum, waterfront parks and more. Businesses offer special deals, events and hospitality from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The partnership will also be raffling off a gift basket. With multiple events on one date, plus Dogfish Head Craft Brewery’s tasting room and tours, visitors will want to make a day of it in historic Milton.

To participate in the townwide yard sale, Milton residents should have their setup ready by 8 a.m. Sept. 8. It is not necessary to sign up for the event, although participants may wish to post signs directing bargain hunters to their sites.
