Milton Holiday House Tour set Dec. 10; advance tickets available for $20
Tickets are still available for Milton's 2016 Holiday House Tour set for 2:30 to 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 10.
Tickets for $20 are available in advance at three Milton locations: the Mercantile at Milton, Salon Milton and the Milton Historical Society and Museum. Advance tickets are also available in Lewes at Lewes Gourmet. On the day of the event, tickets are $25 and can be purchased at the Milton Fire Hall from the Women's Club of Milton bake sale booth, the Mercantile at Milton and the Milton Historical Society and Museum.
In its 25th year, the 2016 house tour presents 13 unique destinations in Milton, all beautifully decorated for the holidays. The Historic District portion of the tour features five classic 18th, 19th and early 20th century homes; plus four homes in and around Reddenwood, a contemporary community just outside of the town of Milton, will be introduced.
Always a memorable stop on the tour is the Episcopal Church of St. John the Baptist, as well as the Milton Historical Society and Museum, Milton Town Hall and the Milton Arts Guild. The arts guild will be presenting its annual holiday art show. This year's tour book cover art was chosen from the 2015 show.
