Milton man sought in Cool Spring shooting
A Milton man is sought after police said he shot another man July 14, who then crashed his car near Cool Spring.
Police responded at 7:49 p.m. to Cool Spring Road near Fisher Road after a Ford Explorer crashed into a utility pole. Police said the driver, a 27-year-old man from Laurel, had been shot in the back. He was taken to an area hospital with critical injuries. The preliminary investigation revealed the victim was driving on West Springside Drive when the suspect fired several rounds at the Explorer, hitting the victim. After the shooting, police said, the driver crashed into a utility pole a short distance away.
Police are searching for Timmarus Perry, 24, of Milton, and have obtained a warrant for his arrest.
