Next show set Feb. 20
February 5, 2015

The community of Milton united in song Friday night, Jan. 23, when the Milton Theatre hosted a Community Cabaret in which locals showcased their musical abilities.

Premier Centre for the Performing Arts Marketing Director Mike Bruley emceed the event. Bruley kept it casual and fun, with his toy poodle Coco accompanying him throughout the show.

Highlights of the evening included Becki Polk’s brassy “When You’re Good to Mama,” and David Downing’s steel drum rendition of “Girl From Ipanema.” Potluck dishes were provided and drinks were sold.

It was a delightful evening of friends and neighbors mingling and sharing their talents.

The next Community Cabaret will take place Friday, Feb. 20. Bruley encouraged singers, musicians, poets, dancers, and other artists from the area to sign up at www.pcade.com, where there is also information about other upcoming events.
