The third annual Miss Utility of Delmarva 5K left American Legion Road in Lewes Aug. 15, heading east before intersecting the state trail system. The new course is what runners call an out-and-back. It has provided awareness to Dial 811 for Miss Utility before you go digging in the yard. It may save your life and prevent you from cutting off power, internet or cable.
The next Races2Run events are the Dewey Beach Patrol 5K Saturday, Aug. 28, and WaterMel Run 5K in Laurel Sunday, Aug. 29.
