A kayak launch that floated away from its Lewes location during a recent storm has been found.
City officials were alerted Jan. 14 of the kayak launch, which was nestled along the Lewes-Rehoboth Canal across from Bay Vista. Lewes Police Chief Thomas Spell said a tow boat towed the yacht launch back to its Lewes location.
“Everything appears to be fine now,” Spell said.
