Moose Lodge donates to Cape Elite football
The Lewes/Rehoboth Moose Lodge 646 recently donated a check for a $2,500 sponsorship to the Cape Elite Vikings football and cheer squads. The Cape Elite participates in the Delmarva American Youth Football and Cheer association.
Cape Elite has five age brackets in its first year of the program – 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U. That includes 98 football players and 38 cheerleaders.
“We strive to produce student-athletes while building them for the middle school and high school sports,” said Elite President Harry Hudson. “This wouldn’t have been possible without the help of our community and major sponsors. Thank you from the Cape Elite Vikings board.”
