Delaware Multiple Myeloma Support Group held a hybrid in-person/virtual meeting July 20 at the Milton Public Library. The hybrid meetings are working well and the library's setup is perfect, according to group member Sue Iwahashi.
The Rev. Paula Waite, a staff chaplain with Beebe Healthcare, was the speaker, sharing her knowledge and offering handouts on the topic of advance care planning. “It was very eye-opening and we all learned a lot,” said Iwahashi.
The group plans to continue with either Zoom or hybrid meetings for the rest of this year. Contact Sue Iwahashi, myelomaemailsue@gmail.com, for more information, and exact dates and times.
