Nancy Carol Ricci, devoted to family

Nancy Carol Ricci of Georgetown passed away Sunday, Nov. 26, 2023. She was born in Salisbury, N.C., on Dec. 20, 1937, daughter of the late Kenneth and Edna (Turner) Earnhardt.

Nancy was working at a bank when she met the love of her life, Raymond Ricci, and they were married in 1958. When Nancy was expecting her first child, she decided to leave the bank and focus on her family. In her free time, Nancy could often be found in the water. She loved to spend time at the beach or pool, most recently having led a water aerobics class in her community pool. More than anything, she loved spending her time with the ones she held most dear, Nancy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Her presence will be deeply and genuinely missed by all who were fortunate enough to know and love her.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her sister, Linda.

Nancy is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Raymond Ricci; her sons, Ronald and Raymond Jr.; her daughter, Rosalie; her four granddaughters; one great-grandson; and her two sisters, Betty, and Patricia.

A chapel committal service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 11, at Delaware Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro.
