Nassau Valley Vineyards Farmers Market open for the season

Delayed a week due to storms, Nassau Valley Vineyards Farmers Market opened for the season May 17. Matt Lafferty’s music filled Bacchus Grove, and Nuevo Mundo Alpacas brought babies to pet and feed. The vineyard staff fixed their famous sangria, and farmers filled their stands with fresh, seasonal vegetables.
The market is open from 12 noon - 3 p.m. every Sunday at 32165 Winery Way in Lewes. For information and updates find Nassau Valley Vineyards Farmers Market on Facebook.

Nuevo Mundo Alpacas brought three young babies for attendees to pet and feed.
Stag Farm is back with honey and tasty spreads as well as seasonal vegetables and fruit.
Totem Farms brought basil plants as well as seasonal vegetables.
The alpacas are very popular and the clothing offered is oh so soft.
